I finished the tenth book, but it wasn't as good as I had wished it to be. Don't get me wrong! It was fantastic! But, sadly, I predicted the end from the VERY beginning... yeah.... the whole turtle formation with the kikori.... I totally saw through it as soon as they mentioned the Senshi warriors were really skilled and outnumbered Emperor Shigeru's INEXPERIENCED warriors.... ANYWHO... I love Japan!! SO it was awesome seeing Halt, Will, Horace, and the gang there. As soon as I heard the name was Nihon-ja.... I was all like, "There aren't any ninja .... are there?" Right I was... but I did see a lot of correlation between the Hasanu people and ninja legends. Ninja were said to be monstrous demons with long red hair that lived in the mountains, so immediately I was all like... AH HAH! I hoped that the whole beastly men covered in red hair thing was just the kikori peoples' overexagguration and that the Hasanu would be EPIC kick-butt ninja! But no... the legend was true for once... which was a little surprising for me since RA doesn't usually do that. Anyways, I've also outgrown the reading level so.... well... XD haha yeah. I enjoyed the series and highly recommend them! They're awesome! But I seriously was up for some Rangers vs Ninja since they are so similar as far as stealth and ranged weaponry. I thought it'd be interesting....

i loved the book, but it seemed to me that it ended kinda fast, like, they beat the enemy, then, they just pretty much said "well, now thats thats done, yall r gettin maried and we r going home! bye yall!" i mean, they couldve AT LEAST shown the weddings, but it just kinda cut off. still awsome book tho, just not one of the best. i was also dissapointed by the complete absense of tug, they didnt even seem to regret leavin the horses out of the whole thing, there was one mention of them in the begining, then the rest of the book acted like the horses didnt even exist.
