The Nascence of Anonymous

Oh I dearly love this painting.

So, like you saw before, I painted before I inked it.

The Japanese Characters read "Shinobi Tokumei" (by now you should all have an inkling on what that means....)

Alright. So.....

The gold dots lead your eyes out of the painting, the shadows (purple swirls beneath subject) pull your eyes up to Anonymous's mask. The lines (which are silver btw) point your eye to Anonymous again... and as I said before, your gaze is then brought out again by the dots.

So, this painting style was inspired to me by two artists. John Whistler (an impressionistic artist) who is reflected in my painting through use of lines and shape and color. The other is Makoto Tsuchibayashi (Sengoku Basara, Devil May Cry, and Shinobi's concept art) through use of the "watercolor first and then inking" technique that I concluded when looking at his artwork. In addition to that he contributes greatly to my new sense of apathy toward controlling every single line in my painting.... I love his scribbles! ^^ Do look them both up. Especially Makoto! ;D

Btw, my hair is shorter now.... and I have a "hair bite" just like Anonymous's..... ;3 BY ACCIDENT! O_O I woke up and was like.... in my mirror...
